Personal and Home Care Aide

The Personal and Home Care Aide Registered Apprenticeship is a year-long program designed specifically to fill the urgent and growing need for well-trained in-home care professionals in Hawaii. This is the first Registered Personal and Home Care Aide Apprenticeship Program in Hawaii within the healthcare sector that is sponsored by a private-sector organization.

Who Can Apply: Applicant must be at least 18 years old. High School diploma or GED required. Must be physically capable of performing essential functions of the apprenticeship program, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must pass criminal background check. Applicants may be required to pass a physical agility test, or fitness test, and have a current TB clearance and MMR inoculations.
