Carpenters construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. They use heavy equipment, hand tools, and power tools and follow blueprints to complete a job. They are involved in many different kinds of construction, including the building of highways and bridges, the development of hi-rises and residential homes, the remodeling of commercial properties, and the installation of kitchen cabinets.
Who Can Apply: Age 17+ High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Complete questionnaire Pass math assessment and Interview. Able to lift 75 lbs.
